The Playground Creation Process

The process of purchasing and installing a playground is easy with Omnitech’s experienced team of consultants, designers and project managers, who will guide you smoothly through the process. This includes the initial consultation, design, manufacturing, installation, and on going service and maintenance.

Consultation (1 week)

Shortly after contacting us, one of our experienced consultants will come to the site to discuss your budget, the age range and number of children using the playground, any colour or theme you may have in mind, or any equipment you would like. Our consultant can also help with things you might not have considered, such as selecting either mulch or rubber soft fall and determining if you’d like timber or concrete edging.

Design (1 - 2 weeks)

With a clear understanding of your requirements, our consultants will then work with our team of in-house designers to create an exciting playground for your site, ensuring that it is engineered to meet Australian Safety Standards, as well as including your references for play elements and colours, tailored to your site and budget. You will then be presented with a quote and digital renderings for approval to ensure that everything is just right before we process to the manufacturing phase.

Manufacture (4 - 6 weeks)

After the playground has been signed off, your project is handed over to our project managers who will schedule your installation and oversee the manufacturing of your playground. While Omnitech do supply some unique, internationally designed and manufactured equipment, the vast majority of our equipment is manufactured right here in Melbourne, using locally sourced materials of the highest grade. Your equipment is then carefully packaged and shipped, ready for installation.

Installation (1 - 2 weeks)

After manufacturing is complete and the playground has been shipped, Omnitechs’ installers will fence off and oversee the preparation of the site. If needed, any old equipment will be removed. The new equipment is then installed, as well as any under surfacing that was included.

Service and Maintenance

Omnitech can also provide comprehensive after sales support to ensure that all of your needs are covered throughout the life of our equipment. We offer comprehensive inspections and maintenance services to ensure your playground remains safe, while our local manufacturing means that replacements parts are almost instantly available. We also offer the options to expand, extend, or refurbish your playground in future, should your needs change.
